Clayton is swimming, cycling and running his way to Vietnam and needs your help to get him across the line.

Clayton Kea is a student from Alfriston College who has been given an amazing opportunity to go on a three week expedition to Vietnam in April next year with the team at Antipodeans. The students were tasked with helping their families work for/raise funds for the travel costs themselves, which they are doing a great job of. Also, part of their expedition includes a community project which the students also need to raise funds for.
Clay has signed up to compete in the IronMaori event in Napier (30th November), and is hoping for sponsors to help get him "across the line". On the day, Clay will be completing a 500m swim, 7km cycle and 3km run.
Donations of any size will be greatly appreciated and be a huge help to get Clayton away on his adventure.
For more information about Antipodeans or IronMaori, please see the following websites:
I'm Clayton's mum, and am helping raise funds for Clay's trip, equipment, and their community project. This is an amazing opportunity for Clayton and the group from Alfriston College. The kids involved are doing a great job working towards their trip next year, and I'm hoping this fundraising will help get them over the line.
Funds raised will go towards the cost of travel and equipment, any surplus will go towards the resources for their community project.
He made it!! 3 December 2018
Mission complete. Clayton successfully completed his event on Friday. The swimming leg of the race was cancelled due to water contamination, but was replaced by another running leg. So he did a run/bike/run duathlon instead. He completed this in 51mins.
A big big thank you to everyone that has supported Clay with this journey.
