Swimming for St Pat’s!

    Thank you very much to all of you for your generous support of ‘swimming for St Pat’s’. We were very lucky with weather and conditions on the day. Your generous support carried me across the line in 2nd position in my age group and 13th out of 193.

    We swam to support the hardworking priests, volunteers, staff, and religious at St Pat’s Cathedral and were delighted to have representatives from the Cathedral come and cheer us on. There have also been some cash donations which came in on Friday and Sunday which we will add to your sponsorship. Between Sarah and I we will have gone over the $8k mark 😊 2022 here we come, who else is in?

    Have you felt the cold mornings this week? Temps in Auckland have plummeted to their lowest point in 3 years…in light of this, I am lifting my target one further and final time to round it out to $5k after hearing from one or two more people who wanted to donate but thought they couldn’t because of the target being reached…Thanks so much for your support.

    Just wanted to share with my supporters that Sarah Dwan, Principal of St Mary’s College (Auckland) is joining the “Swimming for St Pat’s” plunge. Sarah is an outstanding leader and greatly values the College’s strong links to the Cathedral. Go Sarah!

    Thanks to all those who have donated so far. Thanks to your generosity I've already hit my original goal of $2k. The team in our office have encouraged me to 'step up' and set a new goal. Guess I'll actually have to do the swim now - sharing a photo from my first training session over the weekend.
