Sydenham Community Preschool burglary

Sydenham Community Preschool burglary fundraiser. Calling all Superheroes!

Christchurch, Canterbury

On the weekend 7/8th of October the Sydenham Community Preschool was burgled. Resources, sports equipment and tools were stolen leaving the staff and tamariki devastated.

This is a huge setback for a not for profit preschool with limited financial resources. Community preschools have to work extra hard to stay afloat and rely on grants to be able to provide children with equipment and resources for learning.

We are encouraging the community and local businesses to support the important work of this community based preschool to ensure the children continue to have access to high quality learning experiences.

Lets demonstrate to the staff, tamariki and their whanau impacted by this selfish act, what a caring and supportive community can achieve.

About us

Sydenham Community Preschool is based in Waltham , Christchurch. The preschool is government licensed and is not for profit . All funds go back into tamarki care and education.

Use of funds

The funds will be used to replace the items that were stolen in the burglary.

Sports equipment, gardening equipment, maintenance tools and educational resources.
