Bali bully rescue - save the pitbulls in Bali

Hi all, im asking for any help I can get. Im currently in Bali and have been for the last two months. I’ve meet an amazing woman called Karin karner. She is the only pit bull rescue in Bali. The work she does is incredible . I’m not sure if anyone is aware but in Bali people ship in pitbulls, staffys, Rottweilers, Doberman, huskys and any bull breed into Bali and use them as a ‘trophy’ dog. They will leave them in a small cage on a chain, starve them, abuse them, use them for dog fighting, breed them over and over again and many other cruel things. I know this happens everywhere in the world. But Karin has dedicated years and years of her life into these dogs and rescued hundreds of them. Any dog that she can’t rehome she takes it on as her own which is incredible. She relys on public funding.

Bali does not have animal cruelty laws and punishments for people who abuse, torture and mistreat animals that is why rescues are started up and the only way to save them is for them to be surrended to a rescue so they can give them the help they need. If we can speak up about this and get enough people on board. Then Indonesian laws may change.

We want to raise money to help Karin our with the vet bills, the rent she pays to keep all the dogs onsite (if she can’t afford the lease then the dogs have no place to go), treatments for all the dogs including desexing and medications. Every cent will go to these dogs.

I beg you, please help. These innocent dogs are in desperate need!

Here are a few of the recent dogs and there stories:

Ubi is a pitbull. We were blessed to pet sit ubi for a week and we have become so attached to him. Ubi did have a nice owner to begin with but he needed to leave the country so he rehomed him to the wrong person, sadly the new owners locked him in a dungeon and would slide food under the door for him. He now is in foster home and hopefully he goes to an amazing home when the right person comes along.

Shadow just rescued last night. Breed is a male pitbull but you can’t tell due to him being so skinny. Shadow has been starved to death and can’t even walk because he is so skinny. Karin was at full capacity but yet has taken on another beautiful dog. He is currently at the vets being treated.

Abby the English Staffy was rescued two days ago she is only 6 months old and for her whole life she has been chained and in a cage. She does look well in the photo but she is extremely scared of humans and has no trust at all.

Brutus is a pit bull cross (bulldog I believe) he was in a cage all his life. He was never let out at all. We had the honours of walking Brutus for a couple days and the only way to describe him is a gentle giant. He was in another cage with another dog who has been rescued aswell.

Zeus is a pitbull he was rescued a week ago he had been chained up all his life with multiple health issues including two types of blood parasites and a huge abscess on his neck. I had the honours of walking him the other day and his progress is amazing.

Leah I believe has some Rottweiler in her. She was on a chain her whole life the only bedding she had was a plastic chair. I had the pleasure of meeting leah and walking her and it was sad that she was still freaking out and every sound on our walk.

Sammy is a pitbull Cross. I don’t know his exact Rescue story but what I do know is Karin rescued him and trained him up to be the happiest dog and then rehomed him to a guy she thought she trusted only to find out he sold Sammy and Sammy was back on a chain being starved and beaten. I walked Sammy and he is doing so much better back with Karin.

Dollar is a pitbull who was in a cage with Brutus. She is a beautiful girl who now is in her new home with her new caring owners.

Panda is a pitbull who was dumped. He had very poor skin health and I believe that is why he was dumped. Karin rescued him and he is now in a loving home.

Luna is a pitbull she was rescued 4 months ago after being dumped due to her being pregnant. I meet her the other day and she is still looking for her new home

Sadly there is a tattoo artist living in Seminyak who is breeding his dogs for dog fighting, there are multiple pages where people are trying to expose him so he gets to a point where he surrenders his dogs. One of his dogs sits outside the tattoo shops every day on a chain and a cage. She is Breed over and over again so he can use them for dog fighting when they are older.
