Imagine waking up one day to find your sole source of income and food has been abruptly taken away. This is the reality for the people of Tafitoala, a small village in Samoa, where a sudden fishing prohibition has left families struggling to survive.

For over a month now, our community has faced an unimaginable crisis with courage and resilience, but we can't do it alone. We need your help to ensure that the people of Tafitoala can continue to put food on the table and provide for their loved ones.

Funds will be passed directly to Taloaileono Vasapou, the Mayor of Tafitoala Village, who will oversee the distribution of funds to those in need.

Your donation, no matter how small, will make a world of difference to our village. Please join us in this fight for survival and show that, together, we can overcome even the toughest challenges.

Use of funds

The raised funds will cover vital expenses to support the families impacted by the Manawanui disaster, including food, education, electricity, water and basic utilities, as a replacement for lost fishing income, providing stability and security.
