Helping the financial strain while not being able to work to be by their sons side while he recovers from Brain surgery
Auckland
Taimana, an 18-year-old who was once cheerful and active, faced a major setback after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. The growing tumor brought severe headaches and blurred vision, turning his world upside down.
Mai and Karl, Taimana's devoted parents, dropped everything to be by his side during this difficult time. Their unwavering strength and support have been immense, as they take turns being with Taimana, ensuring he takes his medication, and monitoring his recovery in the hospital. However, the financial burden of living in the hospital with Taimana has added extra stress on top of everything else, with one income down.
After undergoing a successful surgery, Taimana is slowly on the road to recovery. Every day, Mai and Karl remain positive, but their financial stress remains. They have given up everything to be by their son's side and would like to lighten this burden with a little bit of financial relief.
