Given by 40 generous donors in around 7 months

Running for recovery, running for connection, running for community. Takahe2Akaroa, getting to the start line with your support.

Nationwide

Speed Freaks runners and coaches have taken part in this iconic race for the last two years.

It has become a special part of our story. The experience was pivotal in sharing our mahi and the impact that running and the running community have in supporting recovery from addiction and growing wellbeing.

This year we want to share this experience with more participants. To achieve this we need your help.

We intend to enter two teams, Ōtautahi and Tāmaki Makaurau. Each runner supported by their community coach. We are seeking donations to make this possible.

Two teams from two cities - Speed Freaks Magic indeed.

Addiction impacts many people, and the commitment to treatment is just the start, recovery and inclusion happens in our communities, thank you for being part of that journey.
