Tamaki Sports Academy needs to replace its truck!
Our old truck has finally died. It has been used for fundraising and work experience for years. We need to replace it.

TT7944, our old Mitsubishi Canter flat deck truck has been a valued part of our organisation for five years. We have used it to provide our free metal collection service to households and businesses in Auckland. This has been a major source of work experience, and of part-time work, to our members. Many of our customers have noticed that TT7944 was nearing the end of its life, and the truck has finally died. We need to purchase a replacement.
Tamaki Sports Academy offers mentoring, coaching, and work experience to South Auckland youth who have dropped out of the mainstream school system but show some sporting talent. A major fundraiser for the academy, and an excellent source of work experience for our members, is the free metal collection service we offer. We will pick up any old metal - computers, whiteware, roofing iron, metal piping, venetian blinds, batteries, car panels, cars, metal shelving, filing cabinets, machinery, lawnmowers, engines, and so on. If folk have any metal rubbish to get rid of, we are keen to pick it up. It is a win-win for both of us.
