Para-Athletics Oceania - Fiji 2017
Please help me raise the funds to attend the Oceania Athlethic Championships in Fiji on 28th June 2017.

A fall during a netball game 2.1/2years ago resulted in paralysis and is something I live and struggle with everyday. Shotput, discus and javelin all helped me with coping with my disability and also provided me a sense of normalsy and purpose. Now I have fallen in love with the sport and have big dreams of one day competing in the Olympic games. Right now, I have qualified and been selected to represent New Zealand at the Oceania Athletic Championships in Fiji on 28th June 2017 but need some help in getting there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't think I could or would find enjoyment in sports after my accident but athletics gives me something to really put all of myself in to, both physically and mentally. All the people I have met along the way (coaches, athletes & supporters) have been so incredible and supportive of me and my dreams making the journey so great. Since starting athletics 8months ago, I have set the NZ records in all 3 throwing events and I'm just getting started. I work hard and aim to be competitive and improve consistently through training and the amazing coaches I have helping me.
