Tane's Last Chance Treatment.

  • Bit of an Update from Tane

      4 November 2020

    It's been an adventure!

I'm coming into the roughest part of the journey now, so wish me luck peeps. I have my transplant on the 6th of November..........lots of risks and health problems that may arise.

I also need to have a nasal gastric tube put in, not to happy about that but if it's going to save my life, it's worth it!

My haematologist has an awesome sense of humour, he said he's "going to try not to kill me" :)

The reality is though that, that is a possibility with this next part of the process.

    Tane Loper

Thank you to all those who have supported Tane, Rachel and their family and kept them in their prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

    Nga mihi nui,

    Emma Philp

  • An Update from Tane.

      15 September 2020

    Bit of an update.

Hi, rough day yesterday. Out ticking off bucket list stuff but got really crook. Was supposed to be up near Greymouth, instead we only got as far as Wanaka, had to get a motel and sleep all arvo.

Guess bit of a reality check.

I guess I am crook and things aren't always going to go as planned.

Very sorry to read of Tanes battle with cancer.

I’ve been battling cancer too for the last 2yrs & know how tough it is.

I hope your family who have the ability to, are providing the financial support & care you will definitely need. Sorry to read of job losses too.

Sincerely Wishing you the very best

I have donated to your givealittle fund & will pray for you Tane
