Please donate to Tasha's family to support them through the loss of their mum/wife
New Lynn, Auckland
It is with heavy hearts that we share this sad story with you. Tasha passed away recently. She was 49 years old. She was waiting to get treatment for cancer and was instead taken by pneumonia. She wasn’t ready to go and was worried about how her family, particularly her son, would manage without her.
Tasha is the mother of three teenagers, including a beautiful son, who is autistic and unable to speak. She is also survived by her loving husband, Lee.
Tasha put herself through a social work degree while raising her family. She worked hard, including for Oranga Tamariki, caring for other families in need with generosity, compassion and strength.
Lee has returned to work and is now a solo parent with a high needs child. All this, while the family grieves for the loss of their mum/wife.
Life has always been challenging but the family has never once complained or asked for help. They live life with love, courage and humour.
Tasha has been a dear, caring, fun and loyal friend. We are working together to support the family and ask you to join us.
If you can, please make a donation to help Lee with funeral costs, day-to-day expenses and maybe some respite so they can take a break.
Tasha was my very dear friend.
Funeral costs, day-to-day expenses and some respite.
Funds will be paid to Tasha's husband Lee (full name is Mohd Yuslizam Bin Shamsuddin)
Thanks so much from Lee and the whānau 15 February 2025
