Help Tayla Beat The Aussie's

I am fundraising to attend the 2016 Australian Karate Championships. My target is $4000 . This will allow myself and dad (as I am only 8) to travel to the event and pay for accomodation , food and entry fees over the 3 day event.Any funds left over will be used to go towards the World Championships in 2017.

I currently train 5 or 6 times a week and attend Karate NZ / GKR Karate training camps whenever I can.

Last year my highlight was to win Gold and become National Champion in the upto 7years Kumite and Silver at the Nationals for Kata upto 7 years. I won a total of 16 medals in 2014 competing in Wellington , Auckland , Ashburton , Cromwell and several Tournaments in Christchurch.

I hope other people get inspiration from my achievments and Face Book page postings.

I have just over 12 months to raise enough money to go to the Australian Champs.

Mum and Dad are currently fundraising by selling home made jam at the school market days. Dad is also going to be doing sausage sizzles and cheese rolls.

My next goal is to compete at World Championships in 2017 but that will be another leg of my Karate Journey. Ultimately I would love the opportunity to represent New Zealand at the Olympics .
