Fundraising for RUBY TAYLOR to get to Australia Golden Gloves and Nationals in chch. Young Boxer trying to live her dream.
Waikato
Ruby Taylor is 14 years old and has been boxing for just over a year. In that time she has clocked up 7 fights with 0 losses. Ruby holds two Golden Gloves titles in NZ and she now has the opportunity to go to Australia with her two coaches.
What started as a hobby and as a response to being bullied at school, her coach quickly saw that she has potential and with Ruby's incredible determination to never give up and always give her maximal effort at every training session and competitive bout, she is on her way to excelling in the sport of boxing.
Unfortunately being female competing in an individual sport there is little funding available for Ruby and we are currently on the hunt for sponsors. As much effort as possible is going into fundraising, however with the Australian Golden Gloves in Brisbane in August and thereafter the NZ Champs in October, we need help!
Australian Golden Gloves, Aug. 2024.
Accommodation and flights for Ruby and her team will amount to $5500.
NZ Championships, Oct. 2024.
Accommodation and flights for Ruby and her team will amount to $3000.
We realise it is a lot to ask in these difficult times however even $1 will go a long way for us. We thank you in advance for taking the time to read this post whether you donate or not.
We have high hopes for Ruby to return to NZ one amazing experience richer which will open the doors for her future in the world of boxing.
The funds will be used for accommodation and flights in Australia and New Zealand.
