Te Omanga Hospice 2022 Annual Appeal
Lower Hutt, Wellington
One in three people who die in the Hutt Valley receive the care of Te Omanga Hospice. It is your generous donation that enables them, and their families, to receive comfort and dignity at the end of life.
Each year we must raise $3 million dollars to provide a free palliative care for those in the Hutt Valley with terminal or life-limiting illnesses.
This year many critical fundraising activities which normally would have raised over $250,000 for patients and families have been postponed or cancelled.
From 16th to 22nd May we celebrate Hospice Awareness Week and hold our annual street appeal on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st May.
With your support we can continue to provide essential care to so many in our community at an uncertain and challenging time.
Te Omanga Hospice provides free palliative care to people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses in the Hutt Valley.
Our services are provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialist doctors, nurses, therapists and specially trained volunteers.
Funds will be used to provide a range of services for those in the community we care for. From enabling a patient to receive a visit from a nurse to having a biography written for a patient with a terminal illness.
We just need a few more $ 26 May 2022
We only need another $450 to reach a total of $40,000 for our annual appeal!
