'TEAM TRIDENT' 5KM CHALLENGE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR WHAKATANE FOODBANKS

After the HUGE SUCCESS of our last lockdown challenge in 2020 we want to help serve our community again in 2021 !!

All Trident Whanau to come together to complete an active 5km either by walking, running, cycling etc during normal Extra Curricular Time (3pm to 4.30pm) on Thursday 2nd September 2021 to Raise funds for WHAKATANE FOODBANKS

FOR THIS EVENT PLEASE FOLLOW GOVERNMENT ALERT LEVEL 3 GUIDELINES AND ONLY DO THIS ACTIVITY WITH MEMBERS OF YOUR BUBBLE AND IN YOUR LOCAL AREA.

THIS EVENT WILL NOT TAKE PLACE AT SCHOOL AS SCHOOL IS ONLY OPEN TO STUDENTS FROM WEDNESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER WHO ARE UNABLE TO STAY AT HOME DURING ALERT LEVEL 3.

EVENT DETAILS

Date and Time of Event - Thursday 2nd September between 3pm and 4.30pm (Our normal Extra Curricular Time)

Every participant needs to complete an active 5km either by walking, running, cycling etc.

PURPOSE

For the WHOLE TEAM TRIDENT WHANAU to come together to raise money for our local community Food Banks during normal Extra Curricular Time to reconnect students and staff to our core values of Quality Work, Respect for Others and Kia Manawa Nui during this difficult time.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

ALL WELCOME however the hope is that ALL CURRENT TRIDENT STAFF & BUBBLE MEMBERS & ALL CURRENT TRIDENT STUDENTS & BUBBLE MEMBERS do this.

We also actively encourage PAST STUDENTS AND STAFF plus their Bubble Members plus MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY to get on board.

HOW DO I ENTER?

To enter each participant must make a minimum ‘Gold Coin Donation’ to our Give a Little Page.

All proceeds go to our Local Community Foodbanks to support our community in this difficult time. ’

Each participant (if a current staff member or student) wears some Trident branded clothing (PE Uniform, School Uniform, School Jacket. Sports Team Clothing)

HOW DO I DONATE?

All participants must have paid their ‘Gold Coin Donation entry fee but we also welcome donations from anyone. Please make donations to our Give a Little Page

TARGET

We would love to raise a minimum of $2000. This would require every student staff member and student to get involved. Can we do this? YOU KNOW WE CAN !!
