Help us to send our dedicated and talented team of Avondale athletes to Sydney, Australia to compete in the Trans-Tasman Challenge.
Nationwide
Avondale Athletics needs your help to send our biggest team of 10 & 11 year old athletes yet to Sydney Australia, to compete in the annual Trans-Tasman Challenge. Our group has been working hard leading up to the Trials, and have just been announced as part of the team! We are so proud of their success so far. Now, we need your help to get them to Sydney in January 2015.
We don't have much time to raise sufficient funds to get them there. We would appreciate as much or as little as you can give to make their athletic dreams a reality.
Lex Revell-Lewis 10 year old boy. Avondale Primary School student. Year 6. Specialist 400m sprint, 200m sprint and 100m sprint runner.
Teiere Manuel-Nathan 10 year old girl. Rosebank Primary School student. Year 6. Specialist Discus and Shot put thrower.
Joshua Saluni 10 year old boy. Balmoral S.D.A School student. Year 6. Specialist 100m sprint and Long Jumper.
Vika Aho 11 year old girl. Three Kings School. Year 6. Specialist Discus and Shot put thrower.
Avondale Athletics still train on a grass track and field, but we can develop champion athletes! Help us to help them compete on an international stage! GO AVONDALE!
We provide athletic activities for kids from 1-14 years of age. We run a club night every Wednesday for the local community, and our competition team train twice a week. Avondale Athletics promotes active participation in sport, and we love to see our kids and their families enjoying the shared park spaces of our community.
