2014 was the first year a local women's crew won the celebrated Round Rarotonga Changeover's Race. Most of the winning crew are trialling for the Pacific Games squad, making for exciting competition, training and trials. All the best ladies!
Trialling paddlers sitting at seat one, two and six are determined to represent the Cook Islands at the 2015 Pacific Games, especially after recent success at the Vaka Eiva paddling festival. Pictured here with fellow crew members, the men's team placed second in the V6 18km marathon race.
Pictured here with the Cook Islands Prime Minister, Hon. Henry Puna, the ladies V12 1500m sprint team celebrates their bronze placing. In 2015 we're more determined then ever to improve our placing.
