We all know how tough being a parent can be and that we want to give our kids the best of everything, Jennie and Jeremy want the same for their family but its become harder for them than the average family.
Although Caleb has been cleared medically of his Brain Tumor he still has physical, emotional, mental and learning difficulties and this puts a huge strain on the family. The CDHB doesn't see Caleb as "urgent" so the resources he had access to in the past are depleting leaving Jennie and Jeremy to be his physio, his dietitian, his occupational therapist, some days his teacher and more. With it looking like ACC will not provide any assistance Jeremy returns to work full-time and Jennie cares for Caleb while trying to fit work in where she can.
I'm hoping setting up this page will relieve some financial stress and allow Caleb, Noah and Brooke to continue with their after school activities. Our goal is to cover these expenses for the next 12 months so the family can retain some 'normality' and the kids can do what they love - after everything they've been through they deserve it! Noah is a keen Martial Artist, Brooke has a love of Jazz, Tap and Musical Theater and Caleb will be starting back with one on one lessons in Martial Arts to help improve his balance, stamina and give him a sense of his old self back.
Every little bit helps.
I am a good friend of Jennie's
