Te Awamutu Brass Band is committed to bringing quality brass band music and teaching to our Community.

By supporting Te Awamutu Brass Band you will help us provide:

- Educational opportunities to young brass players

- Compete within the C Grade both Regionally and Nationally

- Ensure that Brass Bands continue to have a place in contemporary society

Our current projects include:

Much needed update of maintenance our band rooms

A maintenance and refurbishment programme for our instruments and equipment

Purchasing additional uniform items for new members

Retaining quality and supportive musical leadership within our organisation

Updating our music library with more modern repertoire for concerts and contesting

About us

Te Awamutu Brass was established in 1910 and is still going strong today. We are one of New Zealand's leading C Grade bands and compete regularly on a regional and national level. We're a fun group of people who enjoy putting on a relaxed concert or 2 in a year and we're working on developing our youth and learner program to ensure the future of our band is in good hands.

Use of funds

Funds will be used for Music, Instrument maintenance, new percussion gear, admin costs
