Qtopia needs laptops and cellphones for staff so we can run more efficiently, be mobile and improve our engagement with youth online.

A lot of the ace stuff that we do at Qtopia relies on staff to be mobile and active online.

Our current laptop only works if it's plugged in and the keyboard does not work so we have to use a second keyboard..although this is hilarious to watch its not really ideal or practical. Our current cellphones were donated (thanks Dad!) but they are old and tired. We would love our staff to be equipped with better technology so we can get on with the job.

With your help we will be back in the 21st century in no time!

As manager, I am involved because I want our staff to be able to have the tools they need and deserve. We work hard around here, new technology would make things so much easier.

We provide support for rainbow (LGBTQIA+) young people in Ōtautahi Christchurch and the wider Waitaha Canterbury area.

Our services include regular support groups, whānau support, diversity workshops and resources. Our diversity education programme is available to schools, workplaces, businesses and anyone interested in creating an inclusive Canterbury.
