Support Tegan playing for NZ Lacrosse (NZBLAX) at the World Cup Qualifiers
One Tree Hill, Auckland
I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected to represent New Zealand at the Women’s Lacrosse World Cup Qualifiers in Sunshine Coast, Australia, in January 2025! This is an incredible opportunity, and I’m so proud to be part of the NZ team. However, as lacrosse is a non-professional sport in New Zealand, I’m fully self-funding all travel, training, and competition expenses. Any support you can offer would mean the world to me.
My lacrosse journey began in 2015 at Te Awamutu College, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of representing Waikato at U15, U18, and Senior levels. In 2019, I played for the NZ U23 team at the Asia Pacific Lacrosse Tournament in South Korea. After moving to Christchurch for university in 2020, I helped establish the UC Lacrosse team and served as its president, growing the sport in the South Island. I also captained the Canterbury Senior Women’s team in 2023 and 2024.
Now living in Auckland, I work as a Process Development Engineer and serve on the NZ Lacrosse Board. I also play for College Rifles Club and have been selected for the Auckland Senior Women’s team in 2025.
Being part of the NZBLAX team is my biggest achievement yet, and I’m so honoured to represent New Zealand. Thank you so much for your support—I truly appreciate it! Feel free to reach out with any questions!
