Te Kahu home and fighting
16 December 2022Baby Te Kahu has kicked off her chemotherapy treatment and handling it like the little trooper that she is. She is back home in Whakatane and having regular blood tests and under the care of the Whakatane Hospital Paeds team. She’ll head back to Auckland every 4 weeks for more chemo at Starship. At this stage she has managed to avoid surgery and hopefully the chemo will mean she can keep both her eyes but time will tell.
Te Kahu’s whanau are so grateful for the aroha and awhi that they have felt from all of your generous donations, from people they love, their beautiful community and even complete strangers that have come to show they care.
Te Kahu’s strong spirit and smiles have helped keep everyone going and she continues to show her inner warrior every day. Thanks everyone!!!
