I woke from a dream with a single burning idea: Complete all 10 great walks in New Zealand to raise money for 10 different charities.

My name is Dinesh Deonarain and I'm a doctor with a interest in health and wellbeing (obviously!) as well as a keen interest in the 'health' of our environment. The charities I've selected reflect this.

Here is a list of the charities that I will be donating to:

Mental Health Foundation (https://mentalhealth.org.nz/donate)

The last one is a "Wildcard" - i.e. you choose! Message me and I'll go with the charity that gets the most votes. If you feel more comfortable donating directly, just follow the links above then let me know the amount and charity you donated to and I'll record it towards the total.

I will be writing a blog which about the tracks and the charities.

To maximize the amount raised, I will be self-funding my trips.

I have one year to do this... Please help by donating!

Hey Dinesh, it was great seeing you at the Urgent Care Bootcamp. Thanks for your inspiring talks! In terms of a charity to support, I nominate attitude.org.nz who do amazing work teaching the youths of NZ about confidence, resilience, and self care, at a time when they are figuring out who they are.
