When my brother started coming to ‘La ciénaga” and see the problematic in this community with the main income that is fishing and not having unless some of the most basic service such electricity, water , education and health. He started to work with people from the community and friends to engage with this place. Creat another income through to art on the home’s walls and be an attraction for people who visit Nueva Venecia and Buena Vista. Thanks Caos, Seta, Daya and each person who were there to bring colour and love 💕

My brother started visiting Nueva Venecia & Buena vista 8 years ago. He was in love with this place from the first time 💕 A place that is invincible for many, Starting with the current government, poverty is below what you can imagine. However, what I found were welcoming people, with big smiles, who made me feel like part of their family. Every person I spoke to knew my brother.
We have a great time talking about how dreams can become true 😊 so the to topics for this activity was: what you would like to be when you grow up?! Or what you would like for your community?! Then we did a time to talk about it 😊
We had different ages of kids, some of them don’t know how to read yet. They have one school and when they have a teacher, is only for 3 hours per day. Some children are 10 years old and they can’t read yet. We read some books and for the once that could not read, we use the imagination with the images of the books to creat new stories 📚🧡
I am still processing this time! I really want to say thanks from my heart ♥️ of everyone who have been part of this time. After a big logistic from New Zealand to this remote place that most of the world don’t know that exist.
