The Bald Butchers CHristmas Charity Boxes

  • A big thank you form Hope Community Trust

      19 December 2025

We delivered 200 meat parcels to Hope Community Trust this week to kick off the Bald Butchers Christmas Giving.

Tracey the Manager sent me this - "Hi, sorry that it is so late but I didn't want the day to end without letting you know how grateful and truly appreciative the people we gave the meat packs to today. Sometimes it's not the words said, but the tone that it is said in that tells you the truth about their thankfulness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making such a difference in the lives of others today. Please pass our thanks on to the staff and owners of Hurunui Farms and those who contributed to Give a Little. Tracy Hope Community Trust."

So a big thnak you to everyone. We head into the Food Banks in the Hurunui next week.

  • Thank you so much

      8 December 2025

We are truly grateful to the handful of people who have already donated, we have raised $510 so far, and every single dollar of that will be turned into real food for families who need it.

We also want to be honest about why this matters so much. Protein is one of the hardest items for food banks and charities to supply, yet it is one of the most important for growing children, the elderly, and people whose health is already under pressure. Mince, sausages, meat for slow cooking, these are the foods that keep bodies strong, kids focused at school, and older people nourished and warm.

This campaign is about more than a Christmas treat. It is about nutrition, dignity, and real meals for people who rely on these food parcels week after week.

If you have already donated, thank you, you are directly feeding families. If you have been watching and thinking about it, now really is the time. Even a small amount, when added together, becomes real food on real plates.

Every dollar stays local. Every dollar becomes food.

Thank you for standing with our community.
