The Bald Butchers CHristmas Charity Boxes

More families across the Hurunui and North Canterbury are struggling to afford the basics, especially meat, and Christmas week can feel incredibly heavy for parents trying to put proper food on the table. The Bald Butchers Christmas Charity Boxes are our way of stepping in with something real. We’ll prepare meat packs made in our butchery using local Hurunui beef, lamb, pork and chicken, and deliver them to food banks across the district and to Hope Community Trust in Rangiora. Every donation helps us buy animals, make sausages, patties, marinades, mince and cuts, and cover packaging, staff time and delivery, all supplied at cost.

We’re calling on corporates wanting meaningful staff giving, individuals wanting to help with gratitude, and anyone looking to gift something that truly matters this Christmas. We’re also sending out three large Christmas boxes anywhere in New Zealand, filled with veggies, quality meat and a PJs pie, gifted to families the public nominate through our social media. The more money raised, the more boxes we can send nationwide. Follow along to nominate a family and see the impact unfold.
