Phew, what a journey. All going well my girl will be fully healed within a month.
The pink skin continues to take over her wound and her hair has started growing back.
She continues to be her happy self especially because we go for walks at the farm. Slowly but surely we are getting back to normal 😊❤️
She has an inflatable collar that is so much better than her cone of shame 😊
Molly is doing great and now has an inflatable collar that she likes so much better than her cone. We went for a lovely stroll at the farm yesterday.
Off to the vet for another dressing change this morning
Molly is continuing to improve😊
We are still going to the vet twice weekly for bandage changes and we are all in awe of her continued happiness, especially as she’s been wearing a cone for more than 2 months now. When we went to the vets yesterday she jumped up on the couch in the waiting area like she was at home. She did spend 3 weeks there so I guess she considers it her second home 🏡
The photo below shows her wound getting smaller. We are now trying to deal with the itchiness of healing ❤️🩹
Molly had a bandage change today and her wound is much improved.
Her healing wound is becoming very itchy and last night she rubbed against her crate until the bandage came all but off. She was sedated today and her wound was cleaned and redressed. The photo below shows new pink skin forming.
Still a long way to go but great to see the progress every week 😊
I took Molly to the vet for her bandage change today and I was privileged to be able to be a part of it. The vet was very happy as you can see the new skin forming.
Still a long way to go on her road to recovery. Miss Molly Collie is still the happiest star patient ever.
We are so lucky to have such a wonderful team caring for our girl ❤️
My beautiful Molly may be able to come home with me on Monday. She has spent more than 2 weeks in hospital, receiving daily bandage changes and laser treatment every second day.
The vet tells me she has been a star patient and they are really pleased with her progress.
Once home she will need to see the vet twice weekly for bandage changes.
I can’t wait to get her home 😊
