The Big Shave Off

$760 donated

Greg has had a beard for 25 years. With some persuasion he has agreed to shave it off for charity this Friday (22nd December).

Southland

It is time for the beard to come off. After some long negotiations Greg has relented and has agreed to shave off the beard to raise funds for Hospice.

Greg and his wife Annie have been married coming up 37 years and Annie has only seen Greg without his beard once when their daughter Emily was born.

On Friday the 22nd December Liza Dermody from Modern Mens Barber will be in the Invercargill store for the big shave off.

Please give generously to this worthy course.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
