The Bloody Long Day Challenge - F&P style
International
Fisher & Paykel is extremely proud to support ‘The Bloody Long Day 2022’ to help fund research into child cancer.
Started in 2019 by our own Mark Pacey, The Bloody Long Day sees Mark take on the gruelling challenge of a non-stop 24 hour triathlon to raise awareness for a cause that affects millions of children and families around the world.
In just two short years, The Bloody Long Day has inspired thousands of people not only in Australia but around the world. And there is no better word to describe what Mark does than “inspire”.
This year, Mark is taking his endeavour a step further and making his challenge that much tougher by competing in Hawaiian Iron Man - the first weekend in October.
For anyone who has trained for a marathon or a triathlon, you’ll know the intense mental fortitude needed to push through not just physical pain barriers but the psychological hurdles that tell you to stop
It is Mark’s capacity to push through and never quit that gives hope to so many, and gives those he is fighting for strength to keep going.
This year will we join in the fun.
We have set two challenges, so the event is fit for all.
