The day our lives got turned upside down .

Where do I begin .. on 22 may 2025 .. Toya and Damiens lives were turned upside down .

After and operation for an ear infection and being told there was a 1_2 % chance of infection Tapaka(son) unfortunately fell into that category .an operation was again done which they closed the ear off .

From there things went down hill .Tapaka was transfered to starship hospital where he lay in a coma with a 1% chance of survival .

Days went by watching Tapaka and waiting for some signs he was progressing .

4 days later he was slowly brought out of the Coma(over a few days ) as you could imagine if this was your own child .this is the worst thing to watch as parents .

Tapaka is responding to voices but unfortunately the outcome is that he is brain dead on his left side.

And will now be wheelchair bound .. with all the costs involved being in another town .

And also loss of wages . We are as you would know struggling .

Tamaka's twin brother is by his side alongside mum and dad.
