The expense of a terminal illness.

Hi ya'll,

I'm starting this for my dad, who has stage 4 COPD (the final stage of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, aka, emphysema). He is unable to work, and struggles even with little chores around the house, leaving mum to hold up a full time job along with everything else at home. Unfortunately they're not qualified for in-home help, no cleaner, no lawn mover, no practical physical help.

He's a kind, generous man who has worked his whole life, from the early age of 14, sometimes 2-3 jobs at a time, along with raising a family and helping anyone in need. Almost 50 years of paying taxes, yet he is entitled to less than $20 a week help. That in no way covers the ambulances, doctors appointments, medications, petrol, let alone everyday bills.

I'm not asking for much, I know times are tough and uncertainty ripe, but the injustice of the situation he's in, when thousands of other people readily receive help, makes me want to do something. Whether it be $5 or $50, know that it will be greatly appreciated.
