Help Ashley Lodge return home to Rangiora by supporting the restoration of its new Lodge building at 15 Coronation Street.
Rangiora, Canterbury
For more than a century, Ashley Lodge No. 28 has been part of the life and history of Rangiora and North Canterbury.
After the Canterbury earthquakes, Ashley lost its Lodge building on Percival Street and has spent the past 13 years without a home of its own. Since then, the Lodge has continued to meet, continued to serve, and continued to care for the wider North Canterbury Masonic community — including maintaining connections and responsibilities inherited from Lodges that have since disappeared.
Now, Ashley has the opportunity to come home.
A new building at 15 Coronation Street, Rangiora has been secured, with plans in place to renovate and repurpose it into a permanent home for Ashley Lodge and a place that can once again serve its community.
This campaign, The Fabric of Society, is about more than bricks and mortar. It is about preserving heritage, honouring continuity, and helping ensure that a living part of North Canterbury’s Masonic story is not lost.
The funds raised will help support the structural and aesthetic work needed to complete the project and give Ashley the secure future it deserves.
If Ashley’s story speaks to you, we invite you to help bring the Lodge home.
I am supporting Ashley Lodge No. 28 by helping share their story and raise funds for this project.
Funds will help cover structural repairs, restoration work, and finishing costs for Ashley Lodge’s new home in Rangiora.
