The Gift Of Christmas, supporting solo parents within the Waikato over Christmas. Bringing much deserve cheer to our communities.

The Gift Of Christmas Waikato is a non-registered charity.
We create food, necessity and present hampers for Solo parent families within the Waikato for Christmas.
Nadene and Astrid are both solo parents who know first hand how hard it is to raise a family on a single wage.
The initiative stemmed from a group in Auckland, both Nadene and Astrid where a part of this group for several years and decided to bring the idea to life into the Waikato.
2019 saw the beginning of The Gift Of Christmas Waikato and what a successful year it was.
We aimed low, anticipating our 1st year to be only 2 or 3 hampers but we blew it our of the park with such amazing support from local business and the community we managed to gift 6 hampers to such deserving families.
2021 we are hoping to match the 6 hampers and we would love your support.

Hello wonderful people,
Firstly thank you very much for all your support.
I get so excited when I see a new donation come through - not only do you add to my excitement you will add excitement to a deserving family when they see us turn up.
This would not be possible with out your generosity 😊
We have also put out donation boxes into the community - this side of things is also picking up and I am seeing such a variance of products donated which is fantastic to see 🎄
I’ll be back later to update you on how we are progressing but just wanted to pop by and say from the bottom of our hearts, thank you 🤗
