This page is to raise funds for Mental Health associated with my 770km Camino de Santiago walk over 11 weeks from France to Spain.

The 770km walk from Western France, over the Pyrenees and across Spain has been on my bucket list for some time and retirement has given me the opportunity to tick this off. So, over 11 weeks, I am going to do it as we are going to Gallipoli and around France first. Personally, close friends and family make this charity particularly pertinent and make completing this odyssey a strong incentive to do so.

A donation of $100 or more along with your email address will give you access to a closed Facebook page for my progress reports, photos and interviews with fellow travellers. Also you can ask questions as I go and I will answer them.

Use of funds

80% of the funds raised will be donated to the Mental Health foundation with the balance being for some expenses as well as a donation to the Cancer Society.

Thought I’d add abit more to the pot seeing you’re walking double the distance you intended to each day & doing it all without the aid of my amazing blister pack too ! ☺️Anyway this top up will get the total over the 2500 mark & I’ll shout you a beer at the next stop 🍺 visited your Mum today before watching Warricks game at Blake Park , she’s a box of birds ❤️ LOU won the Challenge Cup final against Toulon in Marseille !!
