Our Anna - well what can we say!!!
For any of you that know Anna you will know she has a very BIG heart, she will always be there for you if you need her, and right now she needs US to help her jump one very large hurdle.
Over the last year Anna has made the big decision that weight loss surgery will be necessary for her to reach her full potential and get the most out of life. After struggling since she was a child with being overweight, the health implications for Anna are now pretty serious and are getting worse as time passes. She made the decision to withdraw all of her KiwiSaver so she could embark upon this life changing surgery. After meeting with the surgeon this week, she has now discovered that there are two further procedures that they need to perform – one being before the surgery and the other during, which is leaving her now $6,500 short of the total she needs, so we need your HELP to get this across the line.
If you can help in any way please do, and before we know it this girl will be unstoppable!!!

Anna is one of a team of very special ladies that work for my partner and I in our busy cafe, she is also a friend who I know would be there to support me in a flash if needed.

Surgery date is booked!!!!!! 28 August 2023
After last weeks procedure Anna's surgeon is happy that surgery will be straight forward and it is all booked in for the 10th of October!!! Anna still has a lot of appointments going on in the background with dieticians and psychologists but these are all part of the process to make sure she is mentally and dietary prepared for what is ahead. A good care package is almost as important as a good surgeon!!
We couldn't be happier for what this page has raised to date and our attention is now on the Quiz Fundraiser that Anna's sister Donna is organizing for September the 9th at the Woodbourne Tavern so if you would like to come along just get in touch and we can add you to a table or bring a whole team with you :-)
