The Love of a Puppy!

So Courtney and I met in May last year when I started my new job and she was my team leader! We soon discovered we had something extremely hard in common, we both had dear friends who had terminal cancer. My friend was much sicker at the time and only 7 weeks after I met Courtney my sweet girl passed away.

Despite only knowing me 7 short weeks, Courtney was the most incredible support to me in my friends final days and still to this day. She messaged me EVERY day when Nic was in her unwell. She sent me so much love, warmth and genuine empathy. She made sure that I didnt have to worry about taking so much time off so soon into my job and also didnt have to worry about missing any pay.

This was one of the hardest times of my life and I did not have to worry about anything and could just be with my girl and her family.

Only 2 months later I get a call at work to say another friend of mine had taken her life. I was distraught and Courtney was right there to hug me, look after me and be, yet again, a massive support. All while being the main support person for her life long friend while she had the fight of her life. Courtney organised fundraisers of all kinds for Mandy, she held her hand at chemo, made her special gifts and honestly dedicated every possible minute she could find to be there for Mandy and her family.

And all while this was going on in her own life, she came to work everyday, with nothing but smiles, positivity, encourangement, support and love for everyone of her team members.

Courtney has given her life to her family, friends and her team that she loves so much.

10 days ago her beautiful Mandy lost her fight. She passed with Courtney by her side. Her closest, dearest friend. Soul sisters like no other :)

For the longest time Courtney has wanted a puppy! A wee fur baby for her, her husband and 2 gorgoues children ( yes she juggled a family of her own through ALL of this!! ) And as we all know, puppys can be expensive and Courtney has fell in love with the wee gem in the photos.........So I decided today that Courtz deserves this in her life more than anyone I know.....a new addiction, new life would be so healing for her at one of the hardest times in her life, and I want to make this HAPPEN!!!! Even a dollar or two will be so appreciated, and I really think we can make this happen for my girl :) xxxxx
