The one who's always looking out for everyone else is in a heart breaking lifechanging situation.

Our beautiful friend Tanya Adamson (Tarnz) needs our help 💛

Tanya is a mum of two and a devoted special needs advocate for her daughter Keira (Bearbear), who she has recently taken over her full-time day-to-day care.

If you know the Adamson family, you’ll know they have had more than their fair share of hard times — and now, they really need our support.

Thursday evening, while getting groceries out of the back seat of her car, Tanya was struck by a vehicle at speed. The driver was reportedly distracted & due to the severity of the crash, police are conducting a full investigation.

Tanya has suffered serious injuries to both legs, along with traumatic and confronting visible injuries, multiple surgeries, and more to come, and is now facing a long hospital stay followed by 6+ months of recovery.

Keira was the first on the scene and saw everything. Despite the extent of her injuries and the trauma of the situation, Tanya pushed through the pain and focused on Keira — calmly guiding her until the ambulance arrived.

Tanya is surrounded by an incredible group of friends & family who are rallying around her and supporting both her and the kids during this time.

Right now, things are really tough. Tanya is bedridden, unable to work, her car may be written off, and everything they had planned — including moving house this Easter — has been turned upside down. We are currently in the process of applying for ACC, but this will not cover everything.
