Showing the Turner Family our support

Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty

These two fell in love 8 years ago, Tina is the love of Jordan's life she moved from USA to NZ 4 years ago so they could start their new life together. For the last 5 years they have been saving for their wedding and they had saved just over $12000.00.

This past year has been the absolute worst for them, their wedding fund was completely depleted after unexpected costs.

Jordan has struggled to cope this last year and his mental health has suffered significantly. Depression and anxiety has meant that he has not been able to work. He is currently finding every day a challenge. With the help of medical professionals, Tina, and his Mum and Dad, he is building his confidence and self esteem back up.

This has taken a toll on the whole Turner family and it has not been easy for them.

Let's support Pam & Arthur, Jordan's parents, who have had a significant Covid blow as well. Let's try and get their beautiful, much deserved wedding plans back on track .

This family have supported the community in so many different ways, now it is time to show our support for them and give Pam, Arthur, Tina & Jordan Turner a collective BIG hand up to a very bright and supported future and show them that it is now all about looking ahead.

We, the Turner family just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the givealiitle page and to Petra for organising this for us. You have truly made a difference to Jordan and Tina.

Your donations have helped to get their plans back on track and have given them so much confidence to continue going forward.

We thank you for your kindness, your support and most of all for confirming that there truly are good people in this world who care. We are on a journey to healing as a family and we are looking forward to a brighter, happier future.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
