The Vault Closing Down

After nearly six wild years of being a community-driven DIY practice space, recording studio, and vibrant venue, our lease has ended, and we're facing the bittersweet reality of closing The Vault doors one last and final time.

Since announcing our closure, we have had an overwhelming number of people reach out offering support, so due to popular demand we have decided to open this crowd funding page. We're reaching out to our incredible community and supporters to help us give The Vault the send-off it deserves.

The Vault has nurtured local talent, provided a stage for underground artists, and offered an inclusive space where creativity thrives. It's a place where dreams are realised, music is born, and friendships are forged. But maintaining such a space isn't easy, and over time, we've accumulated almost $10,000 in debt due to operational costs, maintenance, and unforeseen challenges.

All funds raised through this page will go directly into helping The Vault come one step closer to breaking even. Our first priority will be covering the cost of the closure - including truck hire, temporary storage, final expense payouts, skip hire, repairs etc etc. Anything raised in addition to this will go straight into helping pay off the debt we have accrued.
