The Winter Project

$475 donated
Given by 6 generous donors in around 6 months

We aim to keep Wellingtonians in need warm throughout the winter, by providing them with blankets/warm clothing donated by the public.

Wellington

We are a group of 11 students at Samuel Marsden Collegiate. The Winter Project coordinates and collects warm clothing/blankets that we distribute to low decile schools with families in need across the Wellington region, to keep them warm during winter. For the past years, The Winter Project has been solely sourced by clothing donations, however we want to extend this opportunity for people to donate through other ways.

The Winter Project 's involvement (page creator)

As members of the Wellington Community, we feel the need to help those that are less fortunate. We recognise that Wellington winters can be very cold, and want to use our resources to help those who struggle in this period, by donating warm clothing.

Use of funds

The money raised will be used to purchase good quality, warm jackets.
