    As many of you already know Turkey didn't turn out to be a good long term solution for the Kattan family but it did provide the stepping stone as it has for many Syrians desperate to flee war. The family are now accepted as refugees in Germany and the kids will have access to education and housing that would have been a bit more of a challenge in Turkey. To all who donated- thanks for making a difference. You have changed the world.

  • Feeling blessed

    Wow! We have been so amazed by how many people have got behind our cause. It isn't easy asking friends and family for donations but it has brought to light how many people care. The Kattan family are still in Aleppo and doing well considering the dreadful situation. They are nervous but excited about the future and are also extremely grateful to all of you who have helped out.

    We just hit $2000.

    I just wanted you all to know that the funds have sure been accumulating. Wow! I'm blown away by the generosity of you all.

    Uncle Muhammad will be so happy to see that the figure we have now reached is so much closer to the goal.
