Bay of Plenty
We are building a cafe where all the profit will go back into Te Puke to create a community of hope, engagement and abundance.
Te Puke is great - the best little town around - but collectively we can make it even better.
We aim to make The Daily a stonking good Cafe, catering to all and providing a facility to enable people to connect with each other, develop relationships and do ‘good’ in our community . We believe the best relational development is done everyday, by real people, with real problems.
We will have a meeting room where not for profits can meet for free, and amazing people can set up programs to benefit the community (such as courses for budgeting, parenting, literacy, cooking, art, marriage, the possibilities are endless).
Profit will go back into Te Puke with the purpose of alleviating poverty and breaking the poverty cycle in our town.
We have a superb facility lined up and great people on board, we have obtained consent and are now excited to start our build!
- We just need You.
We are raising money to finish the fit out of the Cafe.
We have already had $30,800 donated to get us this far, along with $18,050 pledged towards the construction phase.
All up $150,000 will complete the construction phase, and produce a fantastic cafe for you all to enjoy.
Also, If you'd like to volunteer your time, services or materials to our fit out please contact us through our Facebook page or call Marty on 021 481 350.

The Search Party Charitable Trust has been set up to help with the advancement of Te Puke. We are all residents of the Te Puke Area and are passionate about seeing Te Puke thrive and grow. We will help this by undertaking endeavours that alleviate poverty, and break the poverty cycle, strengthen community relationships and support other community groups.
We have a lease on a building and are in the process of developing it into a café called The Daily. The Daily will be a commercial café that will have a meeting/conference room that can be used free of charge by Not-For–Profit and community groups.
The profits from the café will be used for various charitable endeavours as needs that align with our purpose are identified, including buying supplies and expertise for programmes that we will run in the café space.
