Organiser and Rider in Therap-ski! Endurance group jetski ride to raise awareness for Men's Mental Health

Sponsor me for my group jetski ride for men's mental health. 'THERAP-SKI'. Funds are going toward the ‘Gotcha Bro’ Rotorua initiative

Mount Maunganui, Tauranga

I am passionate about connecting people to adventures and nature, exploring on a jet ski. I have been through some mental health challenges and this topic is now something I am also very passionate about. I came up with a CRAZY fun idea to run a group jet ski ride for men's mental health. Getting out and adventuring on the water has been huge for my mental health. The idea for the event, is for the riders to be sponsored, either by pledging an amount per km ridden on the day, or just pledging any amount as sponsorship. Kilometres will be tallied up on the day of the event. As an example, I will be pledging $1 per KM that I ride on the day. Another example, is a friend of mine donating $20 to the cause up front.

All funds will go toward the ‘Gotcha Bro’ initiative. This is a program put together by Tatai Ora and the save our babies charitable trust. Gotcha bro offers a safe and supportive space for Rotorua men to meet and Kōrero. A very worthy cause :)

The event will be held at Lake Rotoiti on August 23rd. All the riders ride as long as they can, and we do what we can to raise awareness. I am the organiser, but will be riding in the event to get as many KMs on the board as I can. Thank you for your support for the inaugural 'Therap-ski' event.

I have no relationship to the beneficiary, other than being extremely supportive of this cause and wanting to contribute to it where I can.

Use of funds

Funds will be put toward a chosen Men's Mental Health cause. All riders that register will round table a preferred cause. It will either be a relevant charity in need, or an event held locally in Mount Maunganui - dedicated to men's mental health
