Sadly Scott Fairbrother recently passed away. We want to raise support for Scott's wife Kelly and their children to allow them to focus on grieving and remembering Scott.

Scott was an amazing husband to Kelly and father to his children. He was a good mate, clever craftsman, loved a laugh and a joke and was always present for his family.

Scott's passing has come as a shock to his family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with Kelly, and his friends and family at this sad time.

Kelly and I are friends, as are our children and I am a member of Upper Hutt Cross Fit. This page gives a chance for the Crossfit community and others to have a place to give their support to Kelly.

Kelly and Scott are also a big part of our school community. I know that they are always there for others. Now it is our time to support them.

Use of funds

All funds raised will go to support Kelly and their children to allow them to focus on grieving and remembering Scott.

Thank you all for your generous support and kind messages to Kelly through this page. The amazing support from friends, family, school and the wider CrossFit community has meant a lot to Kelly as she is coming to terms with losing Scott.

We’d like to say a special thank you to Upper Hutt Crossfit, other CrossFit boxes around Wellington and other parts of New Zealand and even around the world for honouring Scott’s life by doing a tribute work out for him (#fairbrother, #forscott). This support has been an unexpected but amazing comfort to Kelly and her and Scott’s children.
