Thank you Rodney

As I sit to write on a sunny Easter Sunday, Dad (Rodney), is up a ladder at The Sugar Trade's new cafe, painting in preparation for our opening in a week. He's been up that ladder a lot lately, and has made a huge contribution to transforming my little place in to a beautiful destination. As well as painting he has filled holes, scrubbed dirt, plastered, swept, toiled and visited Mitre 10 many, many times. He has listened to my thoughts and questions for hours on the phone and while up the ladder, has made a financial contribution, and has put together my Operations Manual. The man is incredible. The Sugar Trade Cafe would not have happened without Rodney. I'd like to find a way to thank Dad, but given his work to save The Sugar Trade funds, I'm reluctant to spend those funds on a thank you that is a suitable match for all his work. I know he will find huge reward and satisfaction in seeing the cafe open, and me enjoying it. And let's be honest, he's earned himself a lifetime of free coffees.
