Help kickstart a new family-run small-batch tallow skincare company - The Tallow Soapery
Richmond, Tasman
At The Tallow Soapery, we believe in the power of nature to heal and nourish the skin. Tallow, rendered from grass-fed beef fat, is rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, and fatty acids that closely resemble the structure of the natural oils found in human skin. This allows tallow to be easily recognized and accepted by the skin, making an exceptional ingredient for skincare, providing deep hydration and promoting a healthy, radiant complexion.
Tallow has been used for centuries in skincare by ancient civilizations including the Ancient Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Medieval Europeans and Native American Tribes. Tallow was treasured for it's nutrient-rich composition, moisturising properties, healing & protective benefits, versatility, accessibility and preservative properties. Tallows traditional use in natural skincare remedies was passed down through generations, demonstrating its efficacy and importance in ancient skincare practices.
I plan to offer a range of tallow-based skincare products safe for all skin types, including but not limited to:
- Moisturising Creams: Deeply hydrating for day and night use.
- Soaps: Gentle yet effective cleansers that purify without stripping the skin.
- Balms: Multi-purpose balms that soothe and repair dry or damaged skin.
- Serums: Potent blends to target specific skin concerns like aging, acne, and hyperpigmentation.
- Deodorants: Natural alternative to aerosol sprays loaded with toxic chemicals
