This Christmas protect children and old age people from winter in India

Winter season in India is the most enjoyable time ...BUT it seems to be seen as a disaster for the elderly and children who have no winter clothes / blankets and Shawls for cover.

In India, it's winter season and the cold wind is on extreme during December to March. Over thousands of families in villages of Jamui district spend their nights without a blanket under semi covered roof and loosely built walls. This makes them suffer a lot from cold wind and they become victims of life threatening diseases. Such cold wind and weather mostly attack new born babies and elderly people.

We, at Parivar Vikas, a non-governmental Organization are organizing an event on the 25th of December, this Christmas to distribute blankets and food to families who come from BPL (Below Poverty Line), untouchable communities, minorities, underprivileged and deprived communities across 15 villages at Jamui (rural district of India).

We are targeting one child / one elderly person to cover as many families depending on the amount of funds raised.
