THIS IS AN EMERGENCY

Dear Jasmine,

The above question is a reality and needs detailed attention. YOUR INITIATIVE is very important globally to be able to show that Bobby calves can grow to be diary bulls that can survive in the wild or in a system where they can live for their natural live spans and which can be replicated everywhere. I will advice you to reach out to farm sanctuary or hillside sanctuary for further guidance. Farmers may lesson their guilt if there are sanctuaries every where diary farms exist for this purpose. They can come and drop their bobby calves or pick up can be arranged. I am trying to arrange monthly support for your venture but it is complicated to send funds from Africa. I may still reach out to you to arrange another means of sending. God bless you for the wonderful work that you are doing. From where I am cows keep their calves and cows are not dehorned. Calves are valued as stock not to be discarded as waste. I feel that the cruel treatment of any baby is morally reprehensible. Please also reach out to animal rights organisations like PETA for support. The department of Agriculture in your country may be interested in your initiative and arrange for common reserves or wild land where they can live as well as other means of support. Please send me an email on chrisdame_07@yahoo.com. YOU WILL CONTINUE TO SAVE BOBBY CALVES. JUST HAVE CONFIDENCE TO KNOW THAT THE WORLD IS WATCHING AND THAT FUNDING IS AVAILABLE. Animal rights organizations and their members will support you.

Hi. I assume your Bobby calf rescue was all bulls. Can you confirm you advise what knowledge, work practices and experience you have in managing what will be 50 2 year old bulls in a year time?

The newspaper article didn't advise if you have a farming background or support in animal husbandry. 2 year old bulls around cows in season could be a scary proposition for someone without the right advisors or experience.

I'd like some reassurance.
