Got my results back from an MRI I had done back in june good and bad news.
There is no new MS activity in the brain just the stuff already there which means the tysabri infusions are working there. But there is new and ongoing inflammation and lesions on spinal cord which is affecting my mobility a lot, not much they can do sadly just have to wait and see 😕
Have updated the end date to allow hopefully for donations, as most recently I have a new and slightly scary symptom.
It's called a MS "hug" it feels like an uncomfortable, sometimes painful feeling of tightness or pressure, usually around your stomach or chest. The pain or tightness can stretch all around the chest
Well with summer in full swing now in nz things are heating up which is bad news for me. With the rise of temperature comes a rise in ms symptoms for me, the worse ones I notice are that my speech starts to get slurred and hard to talk. Fatigue hits a high feels like I been hit by a truck. Back and leg pain and loss of balance. I been trying to keep cool via the AC but with that comes a high power bill which I can't afford... At least we are hopefully on the down hill slide of summer!
