Youth-in-need need a budget to keep them out of trouble and on track for a better life.
Nelson / Tasman
Louie Harvey and the team at Nelson Intermediate have identified a handful of high risk young men.
The program is designed to help kids get exposure to opportunities in the community that might encourage them to strive for a good life, meet mentors who will be a positive role model and spark an interest such a career or sport aiming to keep them out of trouble.
Currently, under the global circumstances, Louie doesn't have a lot of budget to work with which impacts the opportunities these boys can have and threatens the benefits of the program.
We are stepping in to use our gym and platform to raise money with a 2hr non stop fitness only boxing event with other local business. We are tying it in with Anti-Bullying (pink shirt day) hence the tickle me pink.
We dont need a lot, every little bit really helps
